Since its founding in 1973, UNA-CLAD has become an industry leader in the manufacturing of architectural metal products. In the late 1970's, UNA-CLAD expanded its scope from distributing copper, to focusing on the emerging industry of architectural metal building products. In keeping with our priorities of customer satisfaction and top-quality products, we have continued to expand our product line to meet industry demand throughout the years.

In 1981, recognizing a void in quality painted products, we began producing coated steel and coated aluminum to our own specifications. The painted metal product line, called UNA-CLAD was created to establish a quality product that has ultimately become synonymous with the entire product line. In addition, UNA-CLAD realized the importance of designing a special packaging method and establishing shipping practices that assure products arrive quickly to the customer, and in a "just produced" state.

Over thirty years later, because of our service-orientated values, we have developed into not only one of the largest distributors of copper products - but UNA-CLAD is also considered to be one of the leading architectural metal service centers to the construction industry, in the United States. In continuing to add and improve our products to meet the customers' changing requirements, our growth has led to the acquisition of UNA-CLAD by Indianapolis-based BFS Diversified Products LLC, the parent organization of Firestone Building Products. Now, under the Firestone Metal Products, LLC. (UNA-CLAD) name, we will maintain our reputation of delivering the highest quality products, produced on time, and at competitive prices.
